SiteTell crawls a website you submit and scores its pages against a rule-based set of patterns associated with generic or AI-sounding marketing copy. The free tier includes the full crawl, score, unlimited re-scans, and one example fix per scan. The full set of fix suggestions requires a one-time paid unlock for that site, or an active monthly retainer subscription.
Scores and flags are produced by an automated, rule-based process and are not a certification that any text was or wasn't written by AI. Legitimate, human-written copy can be flagged, and flagged copy is not proof of anything beyond "this rule fired." Treat every result as a starting point for editorial judgment, not a verdict.
A fix suggestion is generated by an AI model (Google's Gemini), grounded in the specific rule that fired and your own surrounding text. It's a starting point, not a guarantee of quality or accuracy. Nothing is published automatically. Review every suggestion before you use it.
Only submit URLs for sites you own or have permission to scan. Don't use SiteTell to attempt to overwhelm, scrape, or abuse third-party sites or our infrastructure.
The full unlock is a one-time payment per site. The retainer is a recurring monthly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled. Both are processed by Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record; pricing is shown before you pay. You can cancel a subscription at any time from Paddle's own customer portal, linked from your dashboard, or by requesting account deletion (see Data and account deletion, below). See our Refund Policy for when refunds are and aren't issued.
You can delete your own purchase and subscription data, including cancelling any active subscription, at any time from this page. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
